Afrikanus Kofi Akosah Adusei (President)

Kofi is a journalist by profession and a youth activist since 1997. A former socialist, he was one of Ghana's two delegates to the first ever African Youth Parliament in 2003, and the ultimate winner of the Mont Pelerin Society Essay Competition 2007 for Africans under age thirty.

Professor Ken Schoolland

Ken is currently an Associate Professor of Economics and Political Science at Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Society for Individual Liberty, a Sam Walton Fellow for Students in Free Enterprise, a member of the Board of Scholars for the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii. He has authored two books --

  • The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible: A Free Market Odyssey (now published in 40 languages)
  • Shogun's Ghost: The Dark Side of Japanese Education (in two languages)

Ms. Helena Yeboah

Ms. Yeboah is a professional educator with 30 years experience as a classroom teacher, headmistress and administrator. Currently she is involved in business and farming. She is also the founder and Executive Director of Hope for Women Inc., an NGO. She has been with AYPC as a patroness and funder since its inception in 1997 as a youth organisation.

Dr. Warren Coats

Dr. Coats retired from the International Monetary Fund in 2003 as Assistant Director of the Monetary and Financial Systems Department. Prior to holding that position, he served as visiting economist to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and to the World Bank, and was Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia from 1970-75.

Currently, he serves on the board of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, and is Senior Monetary Policy Advisor to the Central Bank of Iraq, an ADB consultant to the National Bank of Kazakhstan on inflation targeting, and a BearingPoint consultant to the Central Bank of Libya on monetary policy.

His most recent book is One Currency for Bosnia: Creating the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mrs. Dorothy Gray

Mr. Louis James

Louis is currently Senior Editor/Analyst for Casey Research, LLC, an investment publication company led by the legendary libertarian investment guru, Doug Casey. He is also a director of the International Society for Individual Liberty.

Previously, Louis was President of the Henry Hazlitt Foundation, and Director of Development for the Center for Market Processes (now called The Mercatus Center).

As a long-time pro-freedom activist, Louis' history also includes working on guerilla education efforts such as Bureaucrash and on the Liberty Round Table.

Ms. Rose Osei Asibey

Ms. Asibey is an educator, social worker, and businesswoman. She is an MA graduate of the University of Ghana, and is currently doing research on the family and free society, with special regard to adoption laws.
